▎Marine impressed current cathodic protection system - type 1
Embedded ICCP system:
Each part of the auxiliary anode is encapsulated into a whole through rubber, and the overall edge is streamlined. It can effectively reduce the ship resistance by installing and fixing on the external surface of the ship;
The rubber of the anode working surface is closely bonded with the titanium plate, which can effectively avoid the risk of anode short circuit caused by seawater penetrating into the anode from here;
The anode working face is equipped with multiple conical seals, which can effectively ensure the water tightness between the anode and the hull.
Reference electrode:
♦️ The exterior is sealed with rubber to ensure water tightness and electrical insulation;
♦️ The electrode is made of high-purity zinc, with stable performance and long service life.
Auxiliary anode:
♦ The overall shape of the edge is streamlined, which can effectively reduce the ship resistance;
♦ Integrated molding can effectively avoid the risk of anode short circuit caused by seawater entering the anode;
♦ The working face is equipped with multiple conical seals, which can effectively ensure the water tightness between the anode and the hull.
Multiway controller:

▎Marine impressed current cathodic protection system - type 2
Mixed metal oxide anode:
♦️ It has good conductivity, high working current density and low polarization;
♦️ It has good chemical and electrochemical stability in harsh environment, low consumption rate and long service life;
♦️ Good mechanical performance, not easy to damage, convenient for processing, manufacturing, transportation and installation;
♦️ The comprehensive protection cost is low, including the life cycle cost of anode materials and the installation and operation cost of anode components.
Tensioning ICCP:
♦️ The bearing cable, power core and auxiliary anode are highly integrated. It has not only mechanical bearing capacity, but also auxiliary anode current transmission capacity;
♦️ The integrated auxiliary anode output current of each composite cable can be adjusted independently to protect the hull structure;
♦️ The composite cable-electrode system is arranged outside the hull, and the auxiliary anode is arranged along the composite cable, which does not affect the hull structure and ensures the hull ♦️ Stability and reliability of the structure;
♦️ The composite cable material has good seawater corrosion resistance and aging resistance;
♦️ It has good anti-storm capability and meets the adaptability and reliability of the sea area under severe sea conditions.
▎Marine impressed current cathodic protection system
◎ Auxiliary anode
The titanium plate and internal lining plate of the auxiliary anode are wrapped and sealed by rubber. The sealed auxiliary anode plate is sunk into the base plate of the flange compartment. One terminal post and six fastening nuts pass through the bolt hole of the auxiliary anode base plate (welded flange compartment bottom plate) and enter the interior of the watertight flange compartment. Tighten the bolts to ensure that the auxiliary anode rubber sleeve closely fits with the base plate and is watertight.
Since the service life of the ship is more than 25 years, the auxiliary anode exposed on the outer ship plate has a certain probability of damage during this period. In order to avoid the failure of ICCP output current caused by accidental damage, the auxiliary anode products provided by the company can be replaced underwater, that is, the damaged auxiliary anode can be replaced in a short time through the cooperation of divers and personnel in the cabin, to ensure that the continuous service life of the auxiliary anode reaches and exceeds 25 years.
The reference electrode is used to measure the potential of the wet surface of the protected body. According to the measured potential, the basic data can be provided for the analysis of the protection status of the hull to avoid the hull being in the over-protection and under-protection status. The multiplexer controller gives the over-protection or under-protection alarm according to the set threshold. In the constant potential mode, the multi-channel controller adjusts the output current of the auxiliary anode according to the difference between the measured potential and the set protection potential to ensure that the potential of the monitoring point reaches the set protection potential; In the constant current mode, the reference electrode is only used to monitor the hull surface potential.
In order to avoid the failure of ICCP monitoring and control caused by the accidental damage of the reference electrode, the reference electrode provided by Komeier can be replaced underwater, that is, the damaged reference electrode can be replaced in a short time through the cooperation of divers and personnel in the cabin, to ensure that the continuous service life of the auxiliary anode reaches and exceeds 25 years.
▎Marine impressed current cathodic protection technology
Large-scale floating offshore platforms, FPSOs and other high-end offshore engineering equipment have high added value and high cost of docking maintenance. It is of great significance to adopt highly reliable anti-corrosion technology for the main structure; In order to achieve the goal of long-term continuous production, long-life ICCP system equipment is one of the important basic conditions.
At present, the problems of ICCP system equipment products provided on the international market mainly include:
(1) It does not have the function of monitoring and evaluating the overall corrosion protection status;
(2) The level of system control technology is low, and it is impossible to achieve autonomous fine regulation based on the overall level of corrosion protection. In addition, among the high-end offshore engineering equipment built in China, the localization rate of supporting equipment continues to increase rapidly, but the ICCP system equipment is still monopolized by foreign countries. It is necessary to develop and apply the long-life ICCP system equipment for FPSO with China's independent intellectual property rights.
