Double-ring corrosion monitoring system
System introduction
The double-ring corrosion monitoring system (RPCM) takes the double-ring resistance sensor as the core, and calculates the circumferential corrosion depth of the pipeline by measuring the resistance of each zone of the ring sensor. Compared with the traditional corrosion detection method, the double-ring corrosion monitoring system does not need to open holes on the pipeline surface, has good safety, and ensures the integrity of the pipeline structure and electrochemistry. The monitoring results are direct and effective, effectively solving the problem of local corrosion damage monitoring under the complex "multiphase fluid - wall" environmental system, and realizing the online monitoring of the full circumferential corrosion depth of the pipeline inner wall.
Basic principle
The double ring sensor (RPCM) is composed of a corrosion ring and a reference ring. The inner surface of the corrosion ring contacts the corrosion medium. The inner wall of the reference ring is coated with a corrosion resistant coating. Each ring is divided into six measuring zones. The corrosion depth of each zone is calculated by measuring the resistance change.

♦ It can distinguish the types of pipeline corrosion (uniform corrosion, top corrosion, corrosion under scale, erosion corrosion) and provide guidance for subsequent corrosion protection measures.
♦ The software system can calculate the corrosion rate according to the corrosion depth measurement results, and predict the remaining life of the pipeline in combination with relevant specifications.
♦ It can form a wired network through communication cables, transmit data to the central control center of the terminal, and access the user's integrated data management platform, thus ensuring data security.
