System introduction
According to the coating type and protection status of different zones of the actual offshore wind power equipment, the research and development of electrochemical sensors are carried out. The method of coupling array multi-electrode and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) combined measurement is used to monitor the aging damage status of the coating at different locations and the corrosion status of the steel structure under the coating in real time, evaluate the protection effect of the coating, and provide guidance for the selection of the coating and other subsequent anti-corrosion scheme design.
System principle
The coating itself is a porous structure, and there are often holes, cracks, particle clusters and other defects in it. When the coating surface contacts the solution, the solution electrolyte will penetrate into the pores of the coating, causing the metal matrix to contact with the solution. Therefore, the electrochemical method can be used to test the coating performance.

♦ Through the electrochemical impedance test, the interface capacitance and phase angle of the coating/metal substrate can be obtained, and then the conductivity and aging rate of the coating can be calculated.
♦ By measuring the multi-channel coupling current, the peeling rate of the damaged area of the coating and the corrosion damage rate of the metal can be calculated in real time.
♦ It can collect environmental parameters such as temperature and humidity in real time.
♦ Data can be transmitted through wireless network, and transmitted to the central control center of the terminal to access the user's integrated data management platform, which ensures data security.
