Sacrificial anode current monitoring system


Working principle

◆ Sacrificial anode leg is cut off and insulated;

◆ The protective current between the sacrificial anode and the steel shell is conducted through the wire, and the anode current transmitter is connected in series to the circuit;

◆ The anode current transmitter measures the protection current intensity, thus realizing the monitoring of the sacrificial anode release current;

◆ All current transmitters collect signals and transmit them to the CP monitor for data storage, transmission and analysis;

◆ Upload the data to the central control computer to evaluate the consumption rate and remaining life of sacrificial anode.

Working principle

◆ The ultrasonic pulse generated by the ultrasonic sensor reaches the measured body through the coupling agent;

◆ When the ultrasonic pulse reaches the material interface through the measured object, part of the ultrasonic signal is reflected by the bottom of the object, and the thickness value is calculated by measuring the round-trip time of the ultrasonic in the material.

Working principle

◆ The reference electrode is arranged at different positions of the steel structure to monitor the surface potential at typical positions;

◆ The potential signal collected by each reference machine is transmitted to the CP monitor, and the data is stored, transmitted and analyzed;

◆ The potential data measured by the monitor is transmitted to the main control computer through RS485 communication bus;

◆ The computer processes the potential data of each monitoring point, displays the potential measurement curve, and saves the potential data in the database;

◆ Monitor the external surface protection potential of underwater structures and evaluate the corrosion protection status.

Background

◆ With the aging of the protective coating, the insulation resistance value decreases, and the protection current density increases continuously. The protection current density increases gradually from the minimum value at the beginning.

◆ The cathodic protection status and coating damage of the steel shell can be judged by monitoring the current density on the surface of the steel shell.

Working principle

◆ Install the monitored test piece outside the steel shell, and the material and coating of the device are consistent with the monitored steel shell;
